Zymbion Q10 Toothpaste

Zymbion Q10 Toothpaste with peppermint flavor contains a patented formula with coenzyme Q10, fluoride and lauroyl sarcosinate. Zymbion increases coenzyme Q10 levels to the levels that are normally found in healthy gingival pockets.

Does NOT contain sodium lauroyl sulphate

Zymbion is made without the foaming agent sodium lauroyl sulphate. In addition to being used in toothpaste, sodium lauroyl sulphate (SLS) is typically used in shampoo and shaving foam because of its thickening and foaming effect. It is generally recommended not to use the substance if you have sores/blisters in your mouth. Instead of SLS Zymbion contains a low-foaming agent called sodium lauroyl sarcosinate.

Q10 and bleeding gums

The coenzyme Q10 levels in healthy gum tissue are substantially higher than what you find in diseased gums. Studies show that oral ingestion of coenzyme Q10 (capsules) can increase those levels. Clinical studies have also shown that direct application of Q10 will increase levels of the compound. Zymbion is developed on behalf of this observation. In studies of Zymbion it is seen how the content of coenzyme Q10 in the gingival pockets increases to the levels found in healthy gingival pockets. It may even increase to levels above that. This increase lasts for more than an hour after you brush your teeth. Combined use of Zymbion with Bio-Quinone Q10 capsules increases the effect additionally, making the improvement last even longer.

Brushing your teeth with Q10 toothpaste may contribute to reestablishing the natural balance between existing micro-organisms in the mouth, thereby supporting healthy gum tissue.

It can be said, conclusively, that Zymbion supports a healthy oral micro-flora, possibly assisted by Q10 capsules. Once the balance between harmful and beneficial bacteria in the oral cavity is normalized, the risk of bleeding gums is reduced. Also, it helps reducing caries-inducing bacteria.

How to brush your teeth with Zymbion

Brush with circular movements, as if massaging the gums. A finger may be used instead of a toothbrush. Make sure the Q10 toothpaste enters the gingival pockets. Avoid rinsing your mouth afterwards in order to keep the Q10 inside the pockets. Zymbion does not produce a lot of lather so it is not necessary to rinse after brushing. Just spit out the remaining toothpaste, leaving only a fresh taste of mint. Zymbion also contains compounds that cleanse the teeth.

What is Q10?

Coenzyme Q10 (also known as Q10) is a vitamin-like compound that is necessary for normal cellular energy metabolism. The mucous membrane in the mouth contains both beneficial and harmful bacteria. Many of the harmful bacteria depend on vitamin K for producing energy, whereas the beneficial ones need Q10. Increasing your Q10 levels will therefore have a positive effect on the beneficial oral bacteria.

A very safe compound

Studies show that even if you take Q10 for longer periods it will not affect the body’s own production of the compound. Zymbion contains 0.5% coenzyme Q10.

This special toothpaste gives you healthier teeth and gums and good reason to smile more often.
